Get Out…In 150 Words or less

I love when a trailer makes me want to see a movie. This was the case with Get Out’s trailer.

The visuals satisfied my palette just enough for me to want more.

It had everything you could want in a movie. The wisecracking friend. A good twist at the end. It also keeps you in the dark about what was really going on in the film until its absolutely necessary.

I appreciated how the film didn’t lean on the traditional horror film tropes. The jump scares or one of the characters being super aloof about imminent danger.

It was funny when it needed to be and the whole experience felt fresh.

I can’t wait to see what Jordan Peele does next and this is definitely a film that’s worth the price of admission.
